One of the areas closest to us is that of residential design. But why this fondness? Becouse It enables us to deal with a journey in which the customer is trying to create his own World, through the perfection of detail and the comfort of the rooms. For the designer this type of design is particularly trickly, but the personal growth alongside so many different personalities is secure.

VILLA IN AVIGLIANA - GREEN IS OUR GOAL

We are excited to present the project of an extraordinary villa, created for two wonderful individuals. Working with them has been a true pleasure, allowing us to create a tailor-made project that perfectly reflects their needs and desires.

This villa, nestled in the greenery of an immense park, is an oasis of tranquility and beauty. The choice to bring the green inside was fundamental to ensure a harmonious continuity between the interior and exterior. Thanks to a series of large windows, it is possible to “slide” seamlessly between the indoor and outdoor spaces, always enjoying the view of the park.

To accentuate this continuity, we chose a palette of very particular greens for both the walls and some furniture. The dark color, desired by the owners, gives a sense of protection and intimacy, transforming the villa into a cozy and safe haven.

The project was developed in close collaboration with the owners, through a continuous exchange of ideas and suggestions. We paid great attention to energy saving and details, to create a home that is not only beautiful but also sustainable.

We are proud of the final result and we are sure that this villa will be a place of happiness and serenity for our clients.

VILLA - CHIERI (TO)
FROM RUSTIC TO VILLA - 2022

There is the proverb that says "from riches to rags", well this project is the exception to the proverb, it is the revenge of an abandoned farmhouse, it is proof that thanks to love for one's territory it is possible to search, design and create beauty even from a shed worn out by time. The client contacted us with the desire to revive and transform that abandoned but full of potential shed that he saw every day looking out from the balcony of his house into his villa for life. And this is how the most complex projects, with the deepest desires, are born: the project of this villa inevitably brought with it numerous difficulties and obstacles, both from a bureaucratic point of view, as the cottage belongs to a protected landscape area, and from that structural. Having to maintain as dictated the existing structure and its typical rustic characteristics, such as the bricks visible from the façades, the structural and compositional study of the villa proved to be complex and articulated: the transformation is leading, as it is still in the construction phase, to the construction of a two-storey villa with north and south views. The interior, divided on the ground floor into a large open space and on the upper floors into the sleeping area, will give new life to the soul of the rustic house which will live forever inextricably linked to the new villa.

We are pleased to present one of our most meticulously studied, revised, and rethought projects, created for a client to whom we have been deeply connected for many years. Over the years, we have worked on various projects, and today this residence represents the culmination of an intense and passionate collaboration, where every detail has been carefully crafted to reflect the client's personality and fulfill the dreams of their ideal home.

The design involved both the interiors and the layout, creating harmonious and functional spaces that perfectly reflect the owner's lifestyle. Every corner of the house has been designed to offer comfort and beauty, with innovative solutions and high-quality materials.

However, for customer requests, we will only publish 3D images of the project and not photos of the actual villa.

The result is a unique residence where elegance and practicality blend in a welcoming and relaxing environment. We are proud to have contributed to realizing our client's dream home and to have created a place that will be loved and lived in for many years to come.

GARBAGNATE MILANESE VILLA (MI) 2013-2015

Garbagnate villa has been designed for a family of four with so different interests. For this reason on the first floor built with open gallery on the ground floor we have obtained the space for the studio, an area for hanging art elements, a cinema room with facilities. The large windows favour the lighting of the rooms and create an effect of continuity between exterior and interior. Children’s rooms have direct access to the garden, to the safest part, so they can play in all peacefullness. The villa has been designed as a totally prefabricated wooden structure.

CANTELLO (VA) – 2013-2015

This project has been designed to a couple of young travelers. For this reason, inside the villa has many facilities to devote to memories of the various journeys, thus making the internal path almost museum. More than other times attention to the expense has been important. It was chosen a particular type of wooden structure and with this project we tried to optimize expenses with structural choices suitable for this purpose.

CABIATE (CO) – 2012

The soil long and narrow did not allow the construction of a house with particular forms, because the distances from the boundaries imposed by regulations were risking to disable the realization. The L’AB Studio took up the challenge by designing a very long and narrow house, with an unexpected result of pleasantness, and especially of the environments usability. To enrich the façade and make the interior very bright we thought a very particular window both for the design and for the type of glass chosen. The structure was conceived with tradizional form and wooden roof.

ITINERANT VILLA FOR PIEMONTE REGION – 2009

In 2009, Piemonte Region, as part of “unite the energies”, commissioned L’AB Studio a project for a propotype house that was supposed to be carried disassembled in two parts and taken to the various exhibitions to raise awareness about the research topics of energy saving , about materials and conscious design. The project, therefore, had to have a simple form, in wooden structure and with all the energy saving requirements, for example passive systems such as solar shading, insulation, orientation study of light and air, as well as active systems as half house heated with low-temperature radiant floor, and the other half house with wall art radiant panels, LED lighting and solar panels.

WOOD HOUSING COMPETITION 2015

In 2015 L’AB Studio partecipated in the wooden housing competition CONCORSO CASA LEGNO, to design a villa that later was introduced in the catalog of a company producing prefabricated houses.
