One of the most significant experiences over the years has been the project of  exchange centre for the town of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso at the side of arch. Gianfranco Cattai of LVIA.
The intentions of the public administration were to create, inside an abandoned area, a centre for the reception of people coming from various parts of Africa in order to match in Arts and Crafts, cultural events, dancing. In short the aim was to create a cultural centre built by young people of Ouagadougou for young people of the whole Africa. The first steps of the project were chosen by the organization of the area to direct  it to the various activities, including a guesthouse.

Once defined the organizations and the activities to include, the project continued, giving an architectural dimension to the work trying to riproduce traditional shapes and materials of the area.
The recovery of some parts of the area required further refinement and consideration putting together renovations and new constructions.

The climate of the area required a thorough study of all the buildings in order to generate passive temperature control systems. To this goal all the structural elements  were verified, both in thickness and in shape, applying the Mahoney systems, the Olgyay too, and the vertical and orizontal solar diagrams, in addition to various software.
