A NEW CHAPTER CALLED: CANDIOLI PHARMA
A year that we will all remember for its uniqueness and for having somehow disrupted everyone’s lives is 2020… well… we at L’AB STUDIO will always remember the end of 2020 thanks to the beginning of our new chapter with CANDIOLI PHARMA. Who is CANDIOLI PHARMA? For those who have a “furry friend” as their best friend, this name might ring a bell, and it does! CANDIOLI PHARMA is an Italian excellence, known worldwide, that produces veterinary supplements and products for care and hygiene both in the veterinary field and for human use.
The Candioli family owns its production facility located in Beinasco, in the province of Turin, and for some years now, new work needs have led to the desire to create a company that is up-to-date, innovative, and highly technological, that is, the desire for a substantial total redesign and restructuring of the spaces involving expansions, optimizations, and growths that are essential today. Ultimately, the warehouse will become a real plant, with a surface area 50% larger than the current one. As of today, 2024, operations related to the first construction phase are underway: in fact, for 2 years now, the first renovations and innovations of the production departments and material storage warehouses have begun, that is, the innovation of the production machines related to the company’s energy sector.
For almost 4 years now, the design theme has been an omnipresent part of discussions and meetings with the CANDIOLI family: in the design of the industrial sector, and even more so the pharmaceutical one, a quantity of studies is necessary according to the most varied levels of analysis (areas, paths, creation of spaghetti charts, macro and micro functions, expansions, safety, thermal/energy, …), analyses that from one meeting to another undergo variations and integrations that enrich the project with details that each time make the project truly fitting to the company’s needs and therefore a project in continuous evolution. Below we can start showing you some first “spoilers” of the future global project.
The CANDIOLI family has decided to embark on this journey with us, a journey of renewal, a journey towards the future not only of CANDIOLI PHARMA, but of one of the Italian world excellences of which we must be proud.
INTRAUMA: EVOLVING TOWARDS THE FUTURE
In 2021, we began collaborating with INTRAUMA, a company in the medical sector. The keyword has always been “evolve.” Since then, we have designed and renovated their two warehouses in Bruino (TO), combining architecture and industrial efficiency. While others “fill” warehouses with machinery and crowded offices, we have created tailored solutions for our clients, focusing on the future. All this has been possible thanks to an enlightened clientele that seeks innovation and technology to improve production activities.
But who is INTRAUMA? It is the third-largest supplier of trauma devices in Italy and a significant international player, exporting products worldwide. Founded in 2002, it manages the entire production process, with a strong focus on research and development alongside global surgeons. In 2010, it launched the VET division for veterinary trauma devices.
The expansion has been rapid, leading to the need for two warehouses. In the first, we renovated the office building, which now houses the administrative, commercial, technical sections, and the canteen, as well as the production and finishing areas. Soon, the renovation of the second warehouse will begin, which will include the VET section, a cleanroom, packaging, and washing areas, requiring in-depth studies on multiple levels.
Evolution is a continuous process, and the project is constantly changing until the final solution is reached. Here are some images of the future evolution and the current state.
