Research and Development Project: Nursing Home for the Elderly

Since 2009, we have been passionately dedicated to research and development (R&D) projects. But why do we invest so much in these projects? The answer is simple: our clients ask us to assess the feasibility of specific works or technical and thermal improvements. Our mission is to integrate and utilize systems to achieve climatic benefits, applying advanced bioclimatic principles, innovative systems, and modernized ancient technologies.

In this context, we designed a nursing home for the elderly, a project that particularly touched us. Many of us have had personal experiences with relatives in nursing homes, and we know how important it is to create an environment that truly supports our elderly.
Our nursing home was designed to be welcoming and comfortable, with large green spaces where guests can walk, even in wheelchairs. We created areas where relatives can enjoy private moments with their loved ones, in every season, in a serene and tranquil garden.

Bioclimatics was a fundamental element of the project, but we didn’t stop there. We also considered the psychological aspects of relatives, the elderly, and workers. For this reason, we focused on the study of light, ensuring that it entered diffusely and not invasively, creating a bright and pleasant environment.

Our goal was to create a place that not only meets the highest technical and climatic standards but is also a serene and welcoming refuge for our elderly. We are proud of this project and believe it represents a significant step forward in how we think about and build nursing homes.
