GYMS

Simple to say “gym”! When we started this project we didn’t imagine that so many different kinds of “GYM” were hidden behind this name. First step: understand what kind of gym the customer wanted. As always, the journey with the customer was extremely enriching, having accompanied him to define the real needs and make them emerge was interesting, lively and curious. The intention? A martial arts gym, but not those for everyone! Complex names, little-known disciplines, and exceptional teachers, of those who, despite the great preparation already acquired, continue to get involved, to experiment with different approaches to the various techniques in order to seek and seek perfection more and more.
For this space we thought of a training room that was bright, the wooden roof to return to more natural materials, simple lines, sheltered edges, floor complete with tatami for falls and basic equipment exposed for the various disciplines.
What can we say? The intervention was complex, since it was decided to recover a very old pastry for the production of baked goods, complete with important load-bearing structures. We have expanded the premises by also creating a new part and all in a building with a long history.
